The Little Chimp
(aged about 5)
GDW,the bloke who's website you are on,was born,raised and lives in the north east of England.

Happily married with two sons,he finds creating and writing stories of the starcruiser and their crews relaxing and his chance to escape.Currently working as a driver he enjoys working with his PC and using the internet.

As well as watching TV and satellite (Knight Rider,Airwolf,Star Trek and a lot of sci fi) he also builds plastic starships as another means of escape.It was this need to be occupied that created his version of Starcruiser One in the first place.
He often gets into the Living TV chatroom ( www.livingtv.co.uk ) chatrooms,sometimes signing on as Hex (which is his initials moved one letter on in the alphabet) or his usual GDW.Later Hex became a major character in his own right who,the author wants to point out,looks nothing like him!He was discussing his work with his number one fan Witchfinder who kept him up nights but gave him the inspiration to carry on and be more creative.He also feels more feedback from readers would help too.
Seeing each story as a challenge,the sense of accomplishment at the end of each one not only advances the universe and characters he's created but provides him with the feeling he has advanced as well.

This is where it all happens.He's actually emailing his sister at the time.And that is his crash helmet sitting on top of his scanner.He recently bought a motor cycle and it's the safest place to keep it!He should have tidied up the desk first though.
